‘We set out to design a range of beauty products that would fill a gap in the market, but most importantly deliver to the customer, a whole new beauty experience, while treating the skin and hair with exotic, multi-beneficial products from around the world’.

This sounds like every beauty brands’ perfect business solution, but one company is actually doing what it set out to do, just a little over two years ago…

The story of Über began during the summer of 2006, when renowned UK bio-chemist, Bruce Green was faced with the challenge of fulfilling this brief, and working closely with the manufacturer, achieved what he believes is the best, most cost effective and naturally beneficial beauty product range on the market today.
Having spent many years perfecting products for the top beauty and cosmetic houses, his devotion to creating the ‘perfect beauty range’ for Über is now paying off, with many professionals in the beauty business embracing these new products. The fresh approach and exotic ingredients have ensured that their clients are absolutely delighted with the results.

Launched in the Autumn of 2006 in the UK, Über had a great reception from the start, being used and enjoyed by many celebrities in Britain and is subsequently now becoming established throughout Spain and The Balearics.

There are undoubtedly exciting times ahead for Über in Spain, and under the guidance of Graham and Sharon Thomas, the brand is expected to grow from strength to strength over the next few years. Graham and Sharon have brought all their marketing and sales experience to Über España, with the enthusiasm to go with it.
They believe the prospects are exciting…

‘We go into 2009 with a strong belief that the time is absolutely right to promote a fresh brand in the marketplace. Yes, people point to the global economical downturn, the ‘credit crunch’, and the ‘crisis’ here in Spain.

But the the beauty business is a growth area and people need something to feel good about, therefore beauty businesses have to work harder to keep their businesses successful and still offer their clients good value, so our promise of a great product, which is affordable and our outstanding customer service is what shines through. We work with all our clients in promoting a solid range of products, added benefits and specially designed treatments. From our base in southern Spain, we already have a national presence with salons and spas in the Malaga region, and in Alicante, Madrid and Zaragoza’.

But, the beauty world is very competitive – some people may ask- ‘Is there room for another one?’ Again, the answers are compelling…

Sharon puts a strong point forward…

’Yes, there are many products out there, but the whole concept behind
Über was to come up with something that really was different, and not be just
another similar range of products – so we genuinely fill a need in the market. In addition, there is an
Über tan, face, body and hair range for the men as well as the women’.

Bruce Green had that vision from the outset, and is very excited about seeing his hard work coming to fruition…

‘When I sat down with the manufacturer and the technical people, we realised that here was the opportunity to start with a blank canvas and design something new, in the right way and come up with unique formulations that fulfilled every aspect of a demanding brief. Having worked for many years with the top cosmetic houses, I was able to bring all my experience to bear in creating, in my opinion, a truly outstanding range of products.

Developing the best formulations, we added innovative ingredients, for example, Manuka honey from the Tea Tree growing region in New Zealand and brought everything together in strict, high-technology pharmaceutical conditions, thereby ensuring the finest quality products with long term stability.  Sourcing the finest natural ingredients was of paramount importance and designing exactly the right blend was the result of many months work in the laboratory.

All the Über products contain the perfect mix of ingredients to deliver wonderful care for the skin and hair… and it doesn’t stop there – we are constantly looking at product innovation…at present we are developing a new face cream with extra-rich anti-ageing properties – top secret at the moment, but soon to be launched in the Spring of 2009!’.


In these leaner economic times, it seems that Über has approached the market in completely the right way, putting the investment into product development, making the product affordable while totally effective, and giving all clients total support with their businesses…yes, Über certainly are a breath of fresh air. We’re sure you will be hearing and seeing a lot more of the Über brand in the months and years to come.
